Manitoba web design agencies cluster hard around one city. Winnipeg holds most of the province’s population.
Most of the web design agencies set up there too. That leaves the rest of Manitoba with a much thinner field to choose from.
If you’re running a business in Brandon, Steinbach, or Thompson, that gap works against you. Fewer nearby agencies means fewer people who already understand your market.
A generic portfolio won’t know your business the way a Manitoba team might. You end up picking from strangers instead of neighbors.
Hire the wrong agency, and it costs months and real money. I looked at 15 agencies serving Manitoba, in Winnipeg and beyond, so you don’t have to guess.
I checked reviews, pricing, and team data from Clutch, DesignRush, G2, Glassdoor, Indeed, LinkedIn, and SEMrush.
That’s how I built the ranking below. You’ll see how Manitoba’s top agencies compare, and where each one truly fits.

Deep Dive: Every Agency Reviewed
Now the details. What each agency does, who it suits, and why it ranks where it does.
1. First Rank — Best if you want SEO-led growth with web design folded in

- Website: firstrank.ca
- Minimum Project Cost: $5,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.90 (65 reviews)
- Team Size: 34 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 12
- Monthly Website Visits: 12,044
- Employee Review Score: 5.00 (1 review)
Overview
First Rank states their own filter directly. They won’t take a client unless they’re confident they can drive a real return.
I like that kind of upfront honesty. It says a lot about how they approach new business before any contract gets signed.
Their client list leans toward trades and industrial businesses. Contractors in painting, printing, cleaning, and electrical work show up again and again. If your business looks like that, you’re on familiar ground here.
First Rank started as an SEO shop, and web design grew out of that same practice. The SEO instincts still lead every project I looked into.
You get a team built around search performance first. Design gets layered on top, rather than the other way around.
One claim stood out to me: they say their methods regularly deliver a big jump in client sales. That’s a bold promise, and I’d want the specifics behind it before taking it at face value.
Core Services
- Website design built around search performance from the start.
- Technical and local search engine optimization.
- Content development and blog strategy for organic visibility.
- Link building and keyword-targeted content campaigns.
- Pay-per-click and Google Ads management.
Why They Rank #1
- Website traffic here is the highest of any agency on this entire list. That’s a strong signal of consistent visibility, not a lucky spike.
- Web design is one part of a broader SEO practice here, not the main event. That’s worth knowing going in.
- Client satisfaction sits at the top of the range here. It’s backed by a solid volume of reviews, not just a handful.
- Employee sentiment is rated perfectly, but on a single review. Treat that number as a data point, not a verdict.
- Their project minimum lands mid-pack for this list. It’s accessible for an established small business, without being the cheapest name here.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
Clutch reviewers keep circling back to the same idea. First Rank treats client accounts like their own business, not just another contract. Several mention monthly reporting that actually gets read and acted on. Nothing in the review set raised a real complaint worth flagging.
Our Take
If SEO is your real priority, First Rank fits well. That’s especially true if you want web design bundled into the same push. Want a design-first partner instead? Look further down this list.
2. Adchitects — Best if you want branding and web design handled as one connected project

- Website: adchitects.co
- Minimum Project Cost: $10,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.95 (54 reviews)
- Team Size: 36 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 10
- Monthly Website Visits: 2,092
- Employee Review Score: 3.80 (4 reviews)
Overview
Adchitects treat branding and web design as one connected project, not two separate hires. I noticed their process starts with a discovery workshop before any design work begins.
I’d call their toolkit modern. Figma for design, Webflow or WordPress for the build, Shopify when e-commerce is involved.
That range shows up in the client list too. It spans mobile app companies, e-commerce brands, and nonprofits they’ve supported pro bono.
You’ll work directly with a small, senior team rather than getting passed down a chain. One client, after a branding-to-web handoff, said the team stays brief and always knows what to do.
A recurring note worth flagging: a few clients mentioned optimistic timelines running long. Worth asking about upfront if your launch date is fixed.
Core Services
- Website design and development (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify).
- Brand identity and strategy, including logo design and brand books.
- UI/UX design and wireframing.
- E-commerce site builds.
- Ongoing site maintenance and hosting.
Why They Rank #2
- Web design and branding split roughly evenly in their business here. You’re not getting an SEO shop that also builds sites.
- Employee sentiment is their softest number, worth asking about team stability before signing a longer contract.
- Their entry cost runs higher than most of this list. That tracks with the more senior, hands-on team their reviews describe.
- What keeps them behind First Rank is reach. Adchitects pulls a fraction of the monthly visitors, even with a stronger client rating.
- Client satisfaction here lands near the top of this entire ranking. It’s edged out only by a couple of names with far fewer reviews behind them.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
A theme worth naming upfront: a handful of reviews flag slower-than-promised timelines. Everything else runs positive though, with branding work and communication singled out most often. Clients repeatedly mention feeling genuinely heard during the design process, not just handed a template.
Our Take
Adchitects fit a business that wants branding and web design solved together. That works especially well if you’re comfortable with a remote team. If your launch date is locked and can’t slip, push hard on timeline commitments before signing. Their own clients flag this as a risk worth planning around.
3. DD.NYC — Best if you want an award-recognized brand and web design partner

- Website: dd.nyc
- Minimum Project Cost: $10,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.93 (197 reviews)
- Team Size: 40 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 11
- Monthly Website Visits: 5,135
- Employee Review Score: 3.00 (1 review)
Overview
DD.NYC works across branding, web design, packaging, and video, all under one roof. I like that breadth. It means the website usually speaks the same visual language as everything else the client puts out.
Their process moves in a clear order. Market and trend research come first, then brand strategy, then the actual guidelines and assets. Website design comes after the brand groundwork is set, not before it.
You’re working with a small, senior-heavy team rather than a large production line. Their design sensibility leans polished and current, and it shows across industries.
Client work spans healthcare, real estate, and sports and entertainment brands. That range is wider than most agencies their size manage.
DD.NYC grew out of video production work, and design later became the bigger part of what they do. The team has picked up real recognition along the way.
That includes branding award nominations most smaller studios never get near. Worth knowing if credentials matter to you.
Core Services
- Website design and development.
- Brand strategy and identity systems.
- Brand guidelines and style documentation.
- Packaging design.
- Video production and storytelling.
Why They Rank #3
- DD.NYC carries far more client reviews than anyone else on this list. That gives their rating real statistical weight.
- Their hourly rate runs at the top of what’s listed here. It’s on par with only one other name on this ranking.
- Employee sentiment is the number to watch here. It ties for the lowest on this list, based on just one review.
- Team size lands near the top of this ranking too. That suggests real capacity to run more than one project at a time.
- What keeps them at #3 rather than higher is traffic. DD.NYC draws well below First Rank’s numbers, even with the stronger review base.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
Their reviews barely vary from client to client. Every project gets the same senior-level attention, big or small. A few notes mention premium pricing, though almost always paired with a comment that the results justified it. This is one of the more consistent review sets on this list.
Our Take
DD.NYC fits a business ready to invest in a full brand-and-web overhaul, not just a website refresh. If your budget is tight, more affordable web design options exist beyond this list. Their scope and pricing will likely outrun what you actually need.
4. Websites.ca Web Design — Best if you want a flat-rate web design company for a small business

- Website: websites.ca
- Minimum Project Cost: $1,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.30 (82 reviews)
- Team Size: 8 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 27
- Monthly Website Visits: 102
- Employee Review Score: 5.00 (3 reviews)
Overview
Websites.ca runs a straightforward small-business model. One flat monthly rate, WordPress under the hood, and a real person on the phone when something breaks.
I like how unglamorous that pitch is. It’s built for owners who just want their site handled, not managed as a project.
Their client list leans toward trades and construction businesses. Concrete leveling companies and metal processors are typical examples. If that’s your world, you’re talking to people who already speak the language.
The team has stayed together for years, and everyone on it works from within Canada. You’re not getting outsourced support routed through a call center.
Websites.ca started small, in a home office, long before most of the agencies on this list existed. That kind of staying power says something about how they treat renewals. The website itself won’t win design awards, though.
Core Services
- Custom WordPress website design and build.
- Ongoing website updates and support, included monthly.
- Domain name and business email setup.
- Website hosting and maintenance.
- Small business-focused design templates and layouts.
Why They Rank #4
- Web design isn’t a side offering here, it’s essentially the entire business. It’s more central to their work than any other agency on this list.
- Their client satisfaction rating is the lowest of all fifteen agencies we scored. That’s worth sitting with, given how many reviews back it up.
- Years in business ties for the longest track record on this entire list. That’s a real signal of staying power in a fast-changing market.
- Entry cost sits among the most accessible on this list. That opens the door for businesses First Rank or Adchitects would likely price out.
- What holds them below the top three is reach. Monthly site traffic here is a fraction of what the leaders on this list pull in.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
The review set here splits more than most on this list. Plenty of long-time customers describe reliable, low-drama service they’ve stuck with for years. A smaller group wanted more design ambition than a template-driven build usually delivers. Both things can be true of the same agency.
Our Take
This fits a small business that wants a website handled and forgotten about, not obsessed over. If you’re chasing a distinctive, design-forward brand presence, look elsewhere. The flat-rate model here will likely feel limiting instead of freeing.
5. Zeal Media Inc — Best if you want one person owning your project from start to finish

- Website: zealmedia.ca
- Minimum Project Cost: $5,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 5.00 (48 reviews)
- Team Size: 3 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 15
- Monthly Website Visits: 501
- Employee Review Score: 3.00 (4 reviews)
Overview
Zeal Media runs lean, with a small team handling web design, SEO, and branding for small businesses. I like that clients seem to work directly with the same person throughout a project. There’s no getting shuffled between departments here.
Their client list runs small and local: movers, electricians, furniture makers, plumbers. Businesses that need a solid site and don’t want to manage a big agency relationship to get one.
Ryan Boutin spent years in graphic and web design before starting this shop. He built it after an earlier run in a family business. That background shows up in how hands-on the work still is.
You’re working with a virtual team spread across the country rather than an office you can walk into. For some businesses that’s a non-issue. For others used to in-person meetings, it’s worth knowing upfront.
Core Services
- WordPress and WooCommerce website design.
- Search engine optimization.
- Graphic design and brand identity.
- E-commerce setup.
- Social media marketing support.
Why They Rank #5
- Client satisfaction here ties for the top mark on this entire list. It’s backed by a real base of reviews, not just a handful.
- What keeps them at the bottom of this batch is scale. Traffic, team size, and years in business all run smaller than the names ranked above them here.
- Team size is the smallest in this batch. That cuts both ways: less overhead, but less room for parallel projects.
- Employee sentiment ties for the lowest score on this list. Worth a direct question about workload before signing on for ongoing work.
- Web design sits at the midpoint of their business, roughly even with their other marketing work. You’re hiring a generalist here, not a specialist.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
Clients describe a founder-led process that feels personal. Quick turnarounds and clear communication show up again and again. A handful of reviews single out one team member by name for going above and beyond. Nothing in the set suggested a pattern of real complaints.
Our Take
This fits a small, budget-conscious business that wants one point of contact. You don’t need a big production team behind it. If your project needs several people working in parallel to hit a tight deadline, look elsewhere. A team this small will likely struggle to keep that pace.
6. Gapsy Studio — Best if you want a UI/UX specialist for a design-forward product

- Website: gapsystudio.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $5,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.90 (62 reviews)
- Team Size: 16 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 9
- Monthly Website Visits: 1,471
- Employee Review Score: 4.00 (1 review)
Overview
Gapsy Studio works across fintech, SaaS, health, education, and real estate. UI/UX design is the clear specialty running through all of it.
Their process starts with a discovery phase, then moves into wireframes before any visual design begins.
I like that structure. It means the interface logic gets solved before anyone worries about color and type. One client described the whole collaboration as smooth, efficient, and effortless. That tracks with how methodically they seem to work.
Figma, React, and modern frontend frameworks show up throughout their project history. That’s a more current toolkit than a lot of agencies on this list are running.
Gapsy Studio started as a small studio and has grown since, picking up design awards along the way. You’re working with a team built around global remote clients. This isn’t a business with deep local roots.
Core Services
- UI/UX design for web and mobile products.
- Website design and front-end development.
- Brand identity and visual design.
- Motion design.
- App development.
Why They Rank #6
- Web design and UI/UX work make up the large majority of their business. That’s one of the highest focus scores on this entire list.
- Their hourly rate is the lowest of any agency we scored. It ties with just one other name on this list.
- Employee sentiment sits in the middle of the pack here. It’s based on just a single review, so treat it as a small sample.
- What keeps them at #6 is reach and scale. Traffic and team size both run well behind the agencies ranked above them.
- Client satisfaction here ties for one of the highest ratings on this list. That’s a strong signal, given how much of their business runs through web design and UI/UX.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
Reviews here are unusually consistent, with quality, schedule, and cost all landing top marks again and again. A few reviewers specifically call out the discovery process for catching problems before they become expensive. Nothing resembling a real complaint turned up in what I read.
Our Take
This fits a business that wants specialist UI/UX work and is comfortable managing the relationship entirely online. If in-person meetings or same-timezone availability matter to you, confirm that upfront. This isn’t a team built around local, in-person service.
7. True Market — Best if you want a nonprofit or regional rebrand handled with care

- Website: truemarket.ca
- Minimum Project Cost: $5,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.90 (63 reviews)
- Team Size: 8 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 11
- Monthly Website Visits: 22
- Employee Review Score: 4.70 (4 reviews)
Overview
True Market leans into brand and website work for nonprofits and regional organizations. I noticed a pattern of rebrand projects. One pulled several regional offices into a single provincial identity.
Greg Hatch, part of the team there, comes up by name in client reviews more than once. That’s a good sign. It usually means someone stuck around long enough for clients to remember who actually did the work.
One client switched to True Market after years on a DIY website that had outgrown the business. You’re getting a team that seems to specialize in exactly that kind of upgrade, not just greenfield builds.
True Market started as a debt-free, fully Canadian team. That framing still shows up in how they talk about the business. It’s a small operational detail, but it says something about how they’re built.
Core Services
- Website design and development.
- Brand strategy and identity, including rebrands.
- Logo design.
- Search engine optimization.
- Content strategy for responsive websites.
Why They Rank #7
- Employee sentiment here is one of the stronger scores on this list. It’s backed by more than a single review.
- Web design makes up less than half of their business here. You’re hiring a broader brand and marketing partner, not a pure web shop.
- What keeps them below the top half of this list is visibility. Monthly site traffic here is among the lowest we tracked. That’s a real gap next to names like First Rank.
- Their hourly rate sits mid-to-high for this list. That’s in line with a team that leans into strategy, not just execution.
- Client satisfaction ties for one of the top marks on this entire ranking. It holds steady across a solid volume of reviews.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
The pattern in these reviews is consistency, not just praise. Clients repeatedly mention feeling like a priority rather than an account number. One review flagged slower email response times as a minor friction point. Otherwise, the sentiment here runs steady and positive.
Our Take
True Market fits a nonprofit or regional organization that needs a rebrand handled with real care. Their own traffic numbers are modest. Worth noting if you judge an agency partly by how visible its own marketing is.
8. More Hot Leads — Best if you want lead generation and content marketing, with a website built to support both

- Website: morehotleads.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $1,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 5.00 (16 reviews)
- Team Size: 5 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 11
- Monthly Website Visits: 43
- Employee Review Score: 5.00 (3 reviews)
Overview
More Hot Leads runs lead generation first, with web design showing up as one tool among several. Their own team describes themselves as a mix of people from all over the country. That shows in how broadly their client base spans.
Case studies span a medical aesthetics clinic, a physiotherapy practice, and a contracting company. That’s a real mix of local service businesses, not one narrow niche.
I’d expect a lead-gen shop to talk mostly about ad spend and conversion rates. Instead, their own materials talk about understanding a client’s business first. The team describes themselves as entrepreneurs who’ve been in the client’s shoes.
You’re hiring a team that built this business from scratch. This isn’t a franchise or someone else’s satellite office.
Core Services
- Website design as part of a broader lead-generation package.
- Search engine optimization.
- Pay-per-click and Google/Bing ad management.
- Social media advertising.
- Marketing automation and content marketing.
Why They Rank #8
- Their project minimum is among the most accessible on this list. That opens the door to smaller local businesses some agencies here would turn away.
- Web design is a small slice of their business, roughly a tenth of what they do. You’re really hiring a lead-generation shop that also builds sites.
- Client satisfaction ties for the top score on this list. It rests on a noticeably smaller review count than the other five-star names here.
- What keeps them in the middle of this ranking is reach. Their monthly traffic and team size both trail well behind the agencies ranked above them.
- Employee sentiment sits at the top of the scale too, for whatever a three-person review sample is worth.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
There’s a small but telling detail across this review set. Several clients specifically mention feeling understood, not just serviced. Results-focused praise shows up too, especially around search visibility. Reviews are fewer here than some names on this list. Call this a promising pattern, not a settled verdict.
Our Take
You might expect a lead-gen shop to treat the website as an afterthought. More Hot Leads doesn’t quite do that, but it’s still clearly secondary to their ad and SEO work. Go in expecting a marketing partner first, web designer second.
9. CAYK Marketing Inc. — Best if you want web design bundled into a full-service digital marketing company

- Website: cayk.ca
- Minimum Project Cost: $1,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.90 (74 reviews)
- Team Size: 20 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 26
- Monthly Website Visits: 3,397
- Employee Review Score: N/A
Overview
One client called them an easy one-stop shop, and that theme holds up across the client list. Manufacturing, safety consulting, and automation companies all show up as repeat-style clients. That’s the kind of business that needs one team handling several moving pieces at once.
CAYK Marketing traces back to founder David A. West. He was already building websites long before the agency itself existed.
That history shows up in how the team talks about staying ahead of new tools. They’d rather do that than chase trends after they’ve already peaked.
Their reach goes beyond their home base. I found client work stretching into other provinces, handled the same way as more local projects.
That’s worth knowing if you’re comparing them against agencies that only work with businesses nearby.
You’re hiring a team built around a second-generation read on marketing. This isn’t a first-year operation still finding its footing. That experience shows up more in steady execution than in flashy branding.
Core Services
- Website design and development.
- Search engine optimization.
- Pay-per-click and paid advertising management.
- Social media marketing.
- Branding and graphic design.
Why They Rank #9
- Monthly traffic here outpaces most of this list, including several agencies ranked above them. Visibility clearly isn’t the reason they sit at #9.
- Web design is a smaller slice of their business, closer to a fifth of what they do. CAYK operates more like a full-service digital marketing shop that also builds sites.
- What holds them at #9 despite strong traffic is client rating and employee sentiment. Both land just behind the names ranked directly above them.
- Their project minimum is one of the more accessible on this list. That opens the door to smaller businesses some pricier names here would turn away.
- Client satisfaction sits high, backed by one of the larger review counts on this entire list.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
Responsiveness comes up again and again in these reviews. One theme stands out: clients like CAYK handle everything under one roof instead of juggling separate vendors. A recurring compliment mentions feeling like a true collaborative partner, not just a service provider.
Our Take
CAYK fits a business that wants one team handling web design alongside broader digital marketing. That’s especially true if you value experience over trendiness. If you want a specialist who only does web design, look elsewhere. Their generalist setup isn’t the tightest fit for that.
10. Unite Interactive — Best if you want web design and social media marketing from a long-running partner across a wide range of industries

- Website: uniteinteractive.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $10,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.90 (41 reviews)
- Team Size: N/A
- Years in Business: 27
- Monthly Website Visits: 1,146
- Employee Review Score: 5.00 (1 review)
Overview
Unite Interactive works across an unusually wide range of industries. Consulting, government, mining, manufacturing, health, and education all show up in their client history.
I like that range. It suggests a team that adapts its approach rather than running the same playbook for everyone.
Their own pitch draws a line between a stunning website and one that actually drives revenue. That’s their stated specialty. Design gets paired with conversion-focused digital marketing rather than treated as the finish line.
One clinic mentioned getting responses within a day, every time, without exception. That kind of consistency matters more to most businesses than any single design flourish.
Unite Interactive has been at this longer than nearly everyone else on this list. You’re working with a team that operates out of more than one Canadian location. Their clients stretch across the US and beyond.
Core Services
- Website design and development.
- Branding and digital strategy.
- Social and mobile marketing.
- Search engine optimization.
- Conversion-focused digital marketing campaigns.
Why They Rank #10
- Years in business ties for the longest track record on this entire list. That’s the kind of longevity that survives multiple shifts in web design trends.
- Their entry cost ties for the second-highest on this list, behind only Takt. That positions them for larger-budget projects, not a first website for a brand-new business.
- What holds them at the bottom of this batch is traffic. Monthly visits here trail well behind most of the other Winnipeg-area names we scored.
- Web design sits under half of their business here. Branding and broader digital marketing carry real weight in what you’d actually be buying.
- Client satisfaction ties for one of the strongest marks on this list. It holds steady across a healthy volume of reviews.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
Response time is what people bring up most. Multiple clients specifically mention same-day or next-day replies, even mid-project. The work itself gets described as solid rather than flashy. That seems to be exactly what their clients are after.
Our Take
You might expect a long-running agency to feel dated. Unite Interactive doesn’t read that way. This fits a business that wants a proven, responsive partner more than a trendy portfolio piece.
11. Digia — Best if you want custom web development from a globally distributed team

- Website: digia.co
- Minimum Project Cost: $1,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.90 (10 reviews)
- Team Size: 9 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 10
- Monthly Website Visits: N/A
- Employee Review Score: 5.00 (1 review)
Overview
Digia works across an unusually wide mix of industries. Dental practices, eCommerce brands, health care, entertainment, and retail all show up in their project history.
I like that range. It suggests a team comfortable adapting rather than running one template for everyone.
One client, a health coaching platform, specifically praised their ability to hit deadlines without cutting corners on quality. That’s a good sign for anyone who’s been burned by a slipping timeline before.
Their build stack leans current: React, Node.js, and modern frameworks like Gatsby and NextJS show up across projects.
They also talk about using AI to speed up development. That shows how quickly some of their smaller projects seem to move.
Digia runs with a split team, part Canadian and part Eastern European. The company has grown steadily since it started. You’re working with a global team here, not a single local office you can drop into.
Core Services
- Website design and development.
- Custom software development.
- E-commerce development (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento).
- UI/UX design.
- Web application development.
Why They Rank #11
- Their client rating for cost ties for the top mark on this list. That’s a strong signal that clients feel they have real value.
- Web design is a smaller slice of their business here, about a seventh of what they do. The rest is broader software development work.
- What holds them at #11 is the review volume. Client feedback here is thinner than most of the names ranked above them. Even so, the score itself is strong.
- Their hourly rate ties for the lowest on this entire list. That puts them in reach of businesses with a tighter budget.
- Client satisfaction sits high, though on a smaller review sample than the agencies ranked above them.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
There aren’t many reviews yet, but what’s there reads consistently positive. Deadline reliability comes up more than once. One client specifically called out quality holding steady even under time pressure. That’s a small sample, though, not a settled pattern.
Our Take
This fits a business that wants a modern build. You’ll be working with a distributed, partly overseas team. Their review count is still thin, so ask for references first. Do that before committing to a larger project.
12. Saremco Tech — Best if you want a team that builds websites and software together, without a long paper trail first

- Website: saremcotech.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $1,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.63 (14 reviews)
- Team Size: 22 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 14
- Monthly Website Visits: 1
- Employee Review Score: N/A
Overview
Saremco Tech runs as a software and digital marketing shop. They build websites, e-commerce systems, and mobile apps side by side. Laravel, WordPress, and Shopify all show up in their public project examples.
Their development work is split across a Canadian operation and an overseas team. That’s a common structure for agencies at this price point. It can mean faster turnaround, though it’s worth confirming who you’d actually be working with day to day.
I couldn’t find much named client work or detailed reviews beyond what’s here. That’s not unusual for a smaller shop. It does mean you’re doing more of your own vetting than you would with a better-documented agency.
Mobile app development, through Flutter, sits alongside their web work. If you need a website and a companion app from one team, that’s worth knowing. This combination isn’t common on this list.
Core Services
- Website design and development.
- E-commerce development (Shopify, WooCommerce).
- Mobile app development (Flutter).
- Digital marketing and search engine optimization.
- Software maintenance and cloud hosting.
Why They Rank #12
- Years in business run well above average for this ranking. That’s real tenure, even with softer numbers elsewhere.
- Client rating for cost is the softest number on this entire list. Worth sitting with, given how many stronger scores sit above it.
- Client satisfaction also runs on the lower side for this ranking, though not by a huge margin.
- What holds them near the bottom of this list is a mix of factors. Softer ratings and limited visibility matter more than any single cause.
- Their project minimum stays accessible, in line with the most budget-friendly names on this list.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
There isn’t a large public review base to draw a strong pattern from here. What’s there skews positive but not glowing, without a dominant theme repeating across reviews. I’d treat this as a thinner picture than most other profiles on this list.
Our Take
This fits a business that wants software development and web design from one team. You won’t need extensive documentation to feel comfortable here. If you lean on client references and case studies before hiring, ask Saremco directly. Public information here is limited.
13. Jummp Marketing — Best if you’re willing to bet on a newer name with strong early numbers

- Website: jummpmarketing.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $1,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 5.00 (109 reviews)
- Team Size: 7 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 3
- Monthly Website Visits: 27
- Employee Review Score: N/A
Overview
Jummp Marketing stands out for a mismatch: a small operation with a surprisingly large base of reviews. That combination is unusual. Most agencies build up a review base over a decade or more, not in a window this short.
I couldn’t find detailed case studies or named client work here. That leaves the review volume without a clear explanation.
That’s worth asking about directly if you’re considering them. The public trail here is thinner than most agencies on this list.
Web design sits well under half of their business. This reads as a marketing-first shop that also builds websites, not the other way around.
You’re hiring a young, small team here. This isn’t an established operation with years of public track record behind it. That’s not automatically a downside, but it does shift more of the vetting burden onto you.
Core Services
- Website design as part of a broader marketing package.
- Digital marketing and advertising.
- Search engine optimization.
- Social media marketing.
- Lead generation campaigns.
Why They Rank #13
- Client satisfaction ties for the top score on this list. It’s backed by one of the largest review counts we found anywhere in this ranking.
- Years in business is the shortest of any agency here, a real contrast against that review volume.
- Web design makes up about a third of their business, with the rest split across other marketing services.
- What holds them in the middle of this ranking despite strong reviews is scale. Traffic and team size both stay modest compared to the agencies ranked above them.
- Their project minimum stays on the accessible end of this list, opening the door to smaller local budgets.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
A huge volume of reviews back this agency, unusual for how new it is. The tone is consistently upbeat, with no dominant complaint pattern. I’d still want to know how that review base grew so fast. That’s worth understanding before treating it as the whole picture.
Our Take
You might expect a newer agency to have a thin track record. Jummp’s review count says otherwise. This fits a business willing to bet on a newer name with strong early numbers. It’s a worse fit if you only trust decades of history.
14. Takt — Best if you’re an established organization that needs a brand story handled with real weight

- Website: takt.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $25,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.85 (51 reviews)
- Team Size: 42 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 14
- Monthly Website Visits: 172
- Employee Review Score: N/A
Overview
Takt works with organizations that lead in their field, not just ones with a marketing budget to spend. Higher education, healthcare, finance, and mission-driven organizations all show up heavily in their client history.
I like their framing: they call themselves architects of impact. That means building brand narratives that carry across every touchpoint, not just a homepage. That’s a bigger promise than most web design agencies make, and their client roster backs it up.
Queen’s Alumni Review, SSA Marine, and CRAFT Beer Market all show up in their project history. Far larger names most agencies would only dream of listing sit alongside them too. That range says something real about how adaptable the team actually is.
Takt started under a different name before becoming what it is today, and the rebrand clearly stuck. You’re hiring a team built for organizations with real budgets and real stakes. This isn’t a starter website for a brand-new small business.
Core Services
- Website design and development.
- Brand strategy and identity.
- UX/UI design.
- Content strategy.
- Campaign creative and messaging.
Why They Rank #14
- Team size here is the largest of any agency on this list. That’s real capacity for handling bigger, multi-part projects at once.
- Their project minimum is the highest on this entire list, by a wide margin. This isn’t built for a first website on a tight budget.
- Hourly rate ties for the top of this list too. That’s consistent with a team built for larger, higher-stakes engagements.
- What keeps them at #14 despite that scale is traffic and score. Monthly visits and overall client rating both land behind smaller, more focused names on this list.
- Web design makes up roughly a third of their business here. It’s folded into a much larger branding and strategy practice.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
Reviewers consistently describe Takt as buttoned-up: strong project management, clear communication, on-time delivery. One recurring note involves handoffs, specifically making sure clients stay looped in when team members change mid-project. Otherwise, the praise here is about as unanimous as this list gets.
Our Take
This fits an established organization with a real budget and a brand story worth investing in properly. A small business testing its first real website should look at small-business-focused agencies instead. Takt’s scale and pricing are built for a different kind of client entirely.
15. Blueprint Digital Marketing — Best if you want paid search and SEO with no long-term contract

- Website: blueprintdigitalmarketing.ca
- Minimum Project Cost: $1,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.50 (19 reviews)
- Team Size: 1 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 10
- Monthly Website Visits: 8
- Employee Review Score: N/A
Overview
Blueprint Digital Marketing pitches itself around one specific promise: no long-term contracts required. That’s a meaningful detail if you’ve been burned by a locked-in contract before. Some agencies trap you in a year you can’t escape.
Their core work leans toward paid search and SEO. Web design and development get folded into a bigger strategy, not sold as the headline service. If you want a dedicated design partner, this isn’t quite that.
One client has stayed with them for years, running a steady monthly retainer the whole time. That kind of retention says more about day-to-day service than any single project ever could.
Blueprint runs out of two offices and has grown since starting. It now serves clients across Canada and the US. You’re hiring a small, tightly run team here, not a large production shop.
Core Services
- Website design and development.
- Search engine optimization.
- Pay-per-click and Google Ads management.
- Conversion rate optimization.
- Digital marketing strategy.
Why They Rank #15
- Web design is one of the smallest slices of the business of any agency we scored, just above More Hot Leads at the very bottom of this list. It sits well behind their core paid search and SEO work.
- Team size here is the smallest of any agency on this list. It’s a true solo-to-small operation, not a full department.
- Client satisfaction sits toward the lower end of this ranking. Worth sitting with, given how many stronger scores rank above it.
- What lands them at the bottom of this list is a mix of factors. A softer client score and the lowest visibility we measured combine here.
- Their project minimum stays fully accessible, in line with the most budget-friendly names on this entire ranking.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
This review set runs mixed rather than uniformly glowing. Strong project management and transparent reporting come up often. A few notes mention slower communication when a team member is overseas. It’s a more honest, less polished picture than some of the flashier profiles on this list.
Our Take
This fits a business that wants paid search and SEO handled without a long-term contract. Web design comes along as a secondary piece. If web design is your main need, look elsewhere on this list first. Their lower focus score and softer client rating point that way.
Disclosure: Our recommendations include both locally headquartered agencies and offshore firms that provide services in this region. Some agencies featured do not maintain a physical office here but have an established track record of delivering services to clients in the area.
How to Select the Right Web Design Agency Partner
You’re not just picking a vendor. This partner will shape how your business looks online for years. Here’s what actually matters when you compare Manitoba web design agencies.
Portfolio Evaluation
Look past the homepage screenshots in any portfolio. Click into a few live sites and test them on your phone. Check whether the work spans different industries or just one. A narrow portfolio can still be a good sign, if it matches what you need.
Pricing Transparency
Ask for a written quote before you sign anything. Compare it against typical web design costs before you commit. Manitoba’s costs run competitive by national standards, so a fair agency shouldn’t pad your invoice. A vague answer is a real warning sign.
SEO Capability
Ask how the agency thinks about local search, not just web design. Manitoba shoppers tend to search by city first, Winnipeg most of all. An agency that understands this builds your site to match. If they can’t explain their approach, keep asking.
Communication
Manitoba’s business community stays close-knit, and referrals still carry real weight. Ask who else the agency has worked with nearby.
A team that communicates well earns those referrals honestly. Notice how fast they answer your first few questions, since that pace rarely changes later.
Scalability
Think past your first website launch. Manitoba’s logistics and supply-chain sector keeps growing, and sites built for today’s business often can’t keep up.
Ask how the agency handles ongoing updates and future redesigns. A good partner plans for growth, not just launch day.
Local Expertise
Local expertise means more than a Winnipeg address. Manitoba includes real markets in Brandon, Steinbach, Thompson, Portage la Prairie, and Winkler too.
Ask whether the agency has worked with small businesses like yours outside Winnipeg. A team that gets rural Manitoba understands your customers better.
Key Hiring Mistakes to Avoid
I’ve seen the same mistakes trip up small business owners again and again. Most are easy to avoid once you know what to watch for. Here’s where hiring usually goes wrong.
Choosing Based on Price Alone
Don’t let the lowest quote decide for you. Manitoba pricing swings wildly between agencies for similar work.
A cheap site often means cut corners you won’t notice until later. Compare quotes against what each one actually includes, or run the numbers yourself with a cost calculator.
Ignoring SEO from Day One
Don’t treat SEO as an add-on for later. Manitoba searchers often use neighborhood names, like the Exchange District, not just the city.
A site built without that in mind misses real local traffic. Ask upfront how the agency avoids this exact mistake.
Skipping the Portfolio Review
Don’t sign based on a pitch alone. Ask to see full projects, not just cropped screenshots. Look for sites that still hold up months after launch. A strong pitch means nothing if the past work can’t back it up.
Not Checking Reviews Closely
Don’t stop at the star rating. Plenty of agencies marketing into Manitoba aren’t actually based here, so dig into what reviewers actually say.
Look for mentions of communication and follow-through, not just results. A pattern of complaints matters more than one bad review.
Overlooking Mobile Design
Don’t assume responsive design just works by default. Too many Manitoba businesses, especially in trades and agriculture, still run on outdated, template-based sites.
Test any example site on your own phone before you decide. If it’s clunky there, your customers will notice too.
Skipping the Ongoing Support Plan
Don’t budget for launch day and stop there. Seasonal businesses already deal with uneven cash flow, so surprise maintenance fees hit even harder.
Ask what ongoing maintenance costs look like after the site goes live. A clear answer now saves a hard conversation later.
Which Web Design Agency Should You Choose?
You’ve now seen all the Manitoba web design agencies that made this list. Each one was scored the same way and ranked in order. Start with whichever one matches what you actually need, not just whoever sits at the top.
If you’re outside Winnipeg, in Brandon, Steinbach, or elsewhere, don’t assume your options are limited. The biggest names here aren’t your only choices.
Several agencies on this list already work well beyond the city. That reach keeps growing as more of Manitoba’s business moves online.
Whoever you choose, treat the relationship as ongoing, not a one-time purchase. A good website today still needs attention next year. Pick the agency you’d actually want to keep working with, not just the one you’d hire once.
How We Assess the Agencies on This List
Why This Ranking Is Different
Most agency roundups lean on editorial opinion, self-reported claims, or paid placement. We built this ranking differently. Every web design agency serving Manitoba goes through the same repeatable scoring framework.
We call these firms web design agencies serving Manitoba, not agencies based in Manitoba. Some are headquartered here. Others operate nationally or offshore and still serve clients across the province.
Physical location isn’t a ranking factor unless it shows up in the scoring model below. No agency earns extra points just for being local. No agency paid for inclusion or a higher position, either.
Scored metrics are only part of the picture. We also look at service pages, portfolios, case studies, and notable clients to understand each agency.
Awards, partnerships, certifications, technical expertise, local presence, proprietary processes, and media mentions all get the same treatment.
None of that qualitative research adds or subtracts points on its own. It only matters here if it lines up with one of the weighted metrics below. That same rule governs every Why They Rank section further down.
Where Your Data Comes From
We collected the data independently during 2026. Most of it comes from public platforms both agencies and clients already use every day.
SEMrush gave us estimated monthly website traffic for each agency. Clutch, DesignRush, G2, Google Business Profile, and Trustpilot supplied client ratings and review counts. Glassdoor and Indeed provided employee ratings and review volume.
LinkedIn confirmed each agency’s team size. Agency websites and other public sources rounded out the picture. That covered services, pricing, hourly rates, minimum project size, and business history.
We also reviewed service pages, portfolios, case studies, public client examples, awards, partnerships, and certifications for each agency. This confirmed real web design capability and gave context for the profiles below.
Unless represented by one of the weighted metrics below, these qualitative findings do not affect the numerical score.
The Five Dimensions That Shape Your Rankings
Each agency is scored across five weighted areas. Positive categories add points, while pricing metrics apply deductions for higher cost barriers.
1. Web Design Focus & Value Assessment (20%)
This category measures how central web design is to an agency’s business. It also factors in how clients rate the value they got for the price.
| Metric | Weight | How We Calculated It |
| Web Design Focus | 10% | Web design appeared as a core agency service |
| Client Rating for Cost | 10% | Average cost/value rating from selected review platforms |
Agencies benefit when web design plays a meaningful role in their business. They also benefit when clients consistently report strong value for the price. We don’t factor in portfolio quality, awards, certifications, or technical expertise here.
2. Brand Authority (45%)
Brand Authority measures visibility, scale, and operating history.
| Metric | Weight | How We Calculated It |
| Website Traffic | 20% | Higher estimated SEMrush traffic contributed more points |
| LinkedIn Team Size | 15% | Larger teams contributed more points |
| Years in Business | 10% | Longer operating histories contributed more points |
These numbers show how visible, capable, and stable an agency is in the market. A bigger team or a longer history doesn’t automatically mean better work.
3. Client Satisfaction (30%)
This category combines rating quality with review volume.
| Metric | Weight | How We Calculated It |
| Average Client Rating | 15% | Combined ratings from selected review platforms |
| Total Client Reviews | 15% | Greater review volume contributed more confidence to the score |
A high rating backed by many reviews carries more weight than the same rating from just a handful. Review themes, like what clients praise or complain about, live in the Snapshot section instead.
4. Employee Satisfaction (25%)
Employee sentiment gives us another signal about how stable an organization really is.
| Metric | Weight | How We Calculated It |
| Average Employee Rating | 10% | Average rating from Glassdoor and Indeed |
| Number of Employee Reviews | 15% | Greater review volume reduced the influence of very small samples |
Both the rating and the review count matter here. We don’t draw conclusions about burnout or retention beyond what the data actually shows.
5. Cost Accessibility Adjustment (-20%)
This is the only category that subtracts points instead of adding them.
| Metric | Weight | How We Calculated It |
| Hourly Rate | -10% | Higher hourly rates received larger deductions |
| Minimum Project Cost | -10% | Higher entry costs reduced accessibility scores |
This doesn’t mean an expensive agency does worse work. It only measures how accessible each agency is across a range of budgets. Combined, this adjustment can reach 20 points, so it carries real weight.
How the Final Score Works
Each metric gets adjusted, weighted, and combined into a score out of 100. Positive metrics can add up to 120 points total.
The Cost Accessibility Adjustment can then deduct up to 20 points. That’s based on hourly rate and minimum project cost.
No single metric decides where an agency lands. A larger agency might benefit from stronger traffic, a bigger team, or more years in business.
A smaller agency might win instead on client satisfaction, employee sentiment, web design focus, value, or affordability.
Only the weighted metrics above change an agency’s rank. Awards, notable clients, partnerships, and certifications can all appear in a profile. So can case studies, portfolio quality, local presence, technical expertise, proprietary processes, and media mentions. None of them move the score on their own.
This framework lets us compare agencies fairly, no matter their size, pricing model, or market position.
Note: All rankings and scores are based solely on publicly available data collected at the time of publication. These rankings reflect the market landscape at the time of publication. Although individual metrics may change over time, the evaluation framework prioritizes long-term capability signals, making major ranking fluctuations unlikely.
