Hiring one of the website design agencies in Savannah feels different from hiring in a big city. SCAD trains designers here, so even small businesses have strong opinions about how a site should look. That raises the bar before anyone opens a mockup.
You’d think that makes choosing easier. It doesn’t.
Local studios and out-of-town firms show up in the same search results. Their quotes for the same job can land far apart. Without a shared yardstick, you’re comparing a cousin’s studio with a national team on gut feel.
Each side has a real edge. A local studio knows the town. A bigger remote team often brings more hands and deeper tools.
So I put them on one scale. I reviewed 18 agencies, using Clutch, DesignRush, G2, Glassdoor, Indeed, LinkedIn, and SEMrush. Now you can see who earns a spot and who fits your budget.

Deep Dive: Every Agency Reviewed
The detailed overview of the top web design agencies in Savannah. All the agencies broke down the same way, for a fair comparison.
1. Thrive Internet Marketing Agency — A Full-Service Pick for Site, SEO, and Ads Under One Roof

- Website: thriveagency.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $1,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.53 (267 reviews)
- Team Size: 216 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 21
- Monthly Website Visits: 660,597
- Employee Review Score: 4.70 (258 reviews)
Overview
Thrive sells to clients far beyond any single region. On a list full of small studios, that range changes how the agency works.
It’s a repeat Inc. 5000 honoree, so the growth is documented, not just claimed. Matt Bowman founded the agency and serves as president.
Most sites run on WordPress. Thrive then adds SEO, paid ads, and social media on top. One team owns the path from site to leads.
Its case studies lean on lead and traffic growth. I’d read them with care, since they come from the agency’s own pages. The newest addition is AI SEO, which fits that results-first pitch.
If you want one vendor for the site and the marketing, that’s the draw. If design is the main event for you, a design-first studio below fits better.
Core Services
- Custom WordPress web design and development
- Search engine optimization and AI SEO
- PPC and paid advertising management
- Social media marketing and management
- Content writing, email marketing, and web hosting
Why They Rank #1
- Its site pulls in well over 100 times the monthly traffic of the next busiest agency here. That is the clearest sign of market presence on this list.
- A team this size can run design, development, ads, and content at the same time. No other agency on this list comes close to its headcount.
- It also has the deepest pool of employee feedback here, so its strong score isn’t a small-sample fluke.
- Website design is a small slice of the business. Clients also rate its value for cost lower than any other rated agency here. It wins on scale and track record, not on design focus or value.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
The recurring complaint is delays and work that didn’t match the price. Still, most clients credit Thrive’s communication, project management, and steady SEO gains. The reviews skew toward marketing campaigns more than website builds.
Our Take
Hire Thrive if you run a funded business that wants site, SEO, and ads under one roof. Expect a bigger invoice. Skip it for a one-off website, where a design-first studio will fit better.
2. UPQODE — WordPress Builds From Developers Who Also Handle SEO

- Website: upqode.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $5,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.93 (148 reviews)
- Team Size: 45 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 12
- Monthly Website Visits: 4,857
- Employee Review Score: 4.80 (4 reviews)
Overview
UPQODE began as a university programming project under founder Nicolae Pasecinic. That developer starts in the offer, where WordPress sits at the center.
It’s an official WordPress VIP agency partner, and it also holds partner status with Shopify and Webflow. That covers three of the platforms most buyers ask about.
Clutch also lists it among top US web design and development companies. I’d treat badges like that as supporting evidence, not the whole case.
Its client work skews toward technology, financial services, and healthcare, with some e-commerce and real estate mixed in.
If you need custom WordPress work and want SEO handled by the same team, it fits. If you’re a small shop watching every dollar, the project minimum may rule it out.
Core Services
- Custom web design and WordPress development
- Shopify web design and e-commerce
- UI/UX design
- SEO and PPC digital marketing
- Quality assurance testing and website maintenance
Why They Rank #2
- Among agencies with more than 100 client reviews, it has the highest rating. Only Thrive has more reviews, and its rating is lower.
- Website design is a bigger part of its business than at Thrive. Clients rate its value for cost near the top of the range.
- Employee feedback is its thinnest signal. Only four reviews stand behind that high score, so treat it as a hint, not proof.
- What keeps it below first place is reach. Its traffic is a tiny fraction of Thrive’s, and its team is far smaller.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
What stands out is how little goes wrong. Clients keep returning to responsiveness and WordPress skill, and several call the pricing fair for the quality. Real criticism is hard to find in this set.
Our Take
Pick UPQODE if you have a real budget and need a custom WordPress or Shopify build plus SEO. Look elsewhere if you need a starter site on a tight budget.
3. Lounge Lizard — A Premium Option for Custom and E-Commerce Builds

- Website: loungelizard.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $25,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.77 (79 reviews)
- Team Size: 58 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 28
- Monthly Website Visits: 3,234
- Employee Review Score: 4.20 (32 reviews)
Overview
Ken Braun and Sharon Sexton founded Lounge Lizard. Braun judges the Webby Awards, and the agency writes for Forbes.
The portfolio includes an e-commerce build for McLaren Golf and a wealth-technology site for InvestCloud. Its own results panel claims big gains in leads and traffic, so I’d treat those as self-reported.
I’d call it the big-agency option here. Full project management, branding, and a wide marketing menu come with it, and the pricing reflects that.
It displays badges from Clutch, DesignRush, Awwwards, and the W3 Awards, which fits its design-first pitch.
Its newest offer is Search Everywhere Optimization. It covers AI search, marketplaces, and social platforms, not only Google.
If you have a large budget and need e-commerce or a complex build, it fits. If you’re launching a first small-business site, expect the price to feel out of reach.
Core Services
- Custom web design on WordPress, Shopify, and Magento
- E-commerce web development
- UI/UX design and responsive builds
- Branding, including logo and identity design
- Digital marketing, including SEO, social media, and email
Why They Rank #3
- After Zazen, it’s the most design-focused agency in the top five. Website design is the main job, not a side service.
- Clients still rate its value for cost near the top of the range, even at these prices.
- Its record is the second longest on this list. It has been through more web-design shifts than nearly any rival here.
- Employee feedback is the lowest among the top three, and its traffic trails the two agencies above it. Those gaps keep it behind first and second.
- Cost is the biggest drag. Its hourly rate and entry price both sit at the top of this list. You pay a premium for experience.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
Flexibility is the headline. Clients describe a team that fixes needs fast. They rate the work well across web design, SEO, and project management, and several call the price fair.
Our Take
Choose Lounge Lizard if you’re a mid-size or larger brand with budget for a custom or e-commerce build. Skip it for a first local-business site, where the price outweighs the need.
4. Zazen Design — One Designer Who Builds and Supports Your WordPress Site

- Website: zazenwebdesign.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $1,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 5.00 (75 reviews)
- Team Size: 1 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 16
- Monthly Website Visits: N/A
- Employee Review Score: N/A
Overview
Zazen is one person. Benjamin Matheson is the designer, the developer, and the only contact you’ll deal with.
He spent twelve years as a hotel concierge before moving into web design. That’s a service background, not a studio one.
WordPress is the core. Webflow and Next.js builds cover jobs that need something different.
The menu has grown over time. Online stores came first. Custom web apps followed, such as booking systems and pricing calculators. AI automation and chatbots came next.
Past clients include restaurants, boutiques, real estate agents, and health professionals. That’s the classic small-business mix.
If you want a direct line to whoever builds your site, this fits. If you need a team to move fast on a large project, one person is a hard limit.
Core Services
- Custom WordPress web design, with Webflow and Next.js when needed
- E-commerce stores on WooCommerce and Shopify
- SEO-ready, mobile-first design
- Logo design and branding
- Hosting and site care, with daily backups
Why They Rank #4
- At $50 an hour, it ties for the lowest rate on this list. A budget stretches further here than at almost any agency above it.
- Website design is close to the whole business, the highest share of any agency here. You’re hiring a specialist, not a department of a bigger marketing shop.
- Clients also rate its value for cost at the top of the scale.
- A one-person team ties for the smallest on this list. That caps how many projects it can run and keeps it below the larger agencies above. It wins on price and focus, and loses on capacity.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
Several reviewers say they interviewed other designers first and picked Zazen anyway. They praise the finished sites and the personal attention, and Ben gets named more than once. The set is mostly glowing, with no recurring complaint.
Our Take
Hire Zazen if you run a small business and want one person who answers every message. The budget can stay modest. Pass if your project needs a team, tight deadlines, or several developers working in parallel.
5. Ajroni — Design, SEO, and Maybe an App From One In-House Team

- Website: ajroni.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $1,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.63 (146 reviews)
- Team Size: 12 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 9
- Monthly Website Visits: 1,314
- Employee Review Score: N/A
Overview
Ajroni’s pitch is speed, transparency, and clear timelines, with a dedicated contact on every project. That’s the agency’s own description, so test it on a sales call.
It began as a solo venture and grew into a full-service shop covering web, apps, and SEO.
On the build side, it works in WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow. For custom jobs it uses Laravel, Vue.js, and .NET, and for mobile it uses Flutter or React Native.
Its portfolio lists small local-business work such as Niks Roofing, alongside e-commerce and web-application projects.
It works remotely with clients around the globe.
If you want design, SEO, and possibly an app from one team, it fits. If design alone is the goal, a design-first studio may suit you better.
Core Services
- Custom web design on WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow
- Custom web development with Laravel, Vue.js, and .NET
- E-commerce development
- SEO and digital marketing
- Mobile app development for iOS and Android
Why They Rank #5
- Its review base is the third largest on this list, behind only Thrive and UPQODE. That makes its rating more trustworthy than most.
- Clients rate its value for cost at the top of the scale. Its entry price also sits in the lowest tier on this list.
- Website design is one service among several, a smaller slice than at Zazen, Lounge Lizard, or UPQODE. You get breadth, not a pure design specialist.
- Its rating trails every agency above it except Thrive, and its traffic is under a third of UPQODE’s. It’s a solid all-rounder, not the leader in any single area.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
Reviewers name few areas for improvement, which is the main signal here. Praise centers on responsiveness and clear communication. Most reviewed projects are small, from WordPress sites for local firms to e-commerce stores.
Our Take
Choose Ajroni if you’re a small or mid-size business that wants design, SEO, and maybe an app. The entry price is low. Skip it if you want a pure design boutique or a large agency bench.
6. Lform Design — Best if you’re a B2B manufacturer that needs a site wired into your CRM or ERP

- Website: lform.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $25,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.87 (80 reviews)
- Team Size: 16 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 21
- Monthly Website Visits: 3,116
- Employee Review Score: 4.50 (7 reviews)
Overview
Lform builds for one crowd: B2B manufacturers, distributors, and consulting firms. That narrow lane stands out on a list of generalists. It shows in the services too, which include CRM and ERP links behind the site.
Its stated process starts with wireframes and follows web conventions, not trends. For a catalog-heavy industrial site, I think that restraint makes sense.
Ian Loew founded Lform and serves as owner and creative director. The agency also runs a scholarship program for female computer scientists.
If you sell to other businesses and need your site to feed a CRM or ERP, it fits. If you’re a local shop on a small budget, the entry price will likely be a wall.
Core Services
- Custom web design and development for B2B manufacturers
- UI design and wireframe-first planning
- CRM, ERP, and API integration
- SEO for digital manufacturers
- E-commerce development, web hosting, and WCAG conformance
Why They Rank #6
- Its record is as long as Thrive’s. Only Lounge Lizard has been at it longer in the top ten.
- Among agencies with more than 70 client reviews, only UPQODE and Zazen score higher. That’s a strong feedback record for a specialist.
- Its hourly rate sits at the top tier of this list. Clients still rate its value for cost near the top of the range.
- Employee feedback is thin, with only seven reviews behind a middling score. A $25,000 entry point and a small team keep it below fifth place.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
Speed of reply is the detail reviewers mention first, often within a day. They also say Lform treats a project like a relationship, not a handoff. Manufacturers like the easy-to-update CMS, and few complaints turn up.
Our Take
Hire Lform if you’re a B2B firm with a real budget. It suits sites that must feed a CRM or ERP. Skip it if you run a local shop or need a quick, cheap build.
7. Focus Lab — A Brand-First Agency for B2B Tech Companies

- Website: focuslab.agency
- Minimum Project Cost: $25,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 5.00 (14 reviews)
- Team Size: 44 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 16
- Monthly Website Visits: 2,151
- Employee Review Score: 4.70 (26 reviews)
Overview
Focus Lab is a brand agency first. Its clients are mostly B2B technology companies that need a new identity before they need a new site.
Past work includes brand projects for Salesloft, Zuora, and the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association. Bill Kenney and Erik Reagan started it as a two-person design and development partnership.
It calls its brand process a key differentiator and explains that process openly on its own site. I’d read that page before you book a call.
On the build side, Craft CMS is on its list of specialties.
If you need positioning, identity, and a site from one brand team, it fits. If you just need a quick website refresh, this isn’t the right tool.
Core Services
- Brand strategy and positioning
- Visual identity and logo design
- Verbal identity and messaging
- Website design and development
- Ongoing brand support
Why They Rank #7
- Employee feedback is the fourth-largest pool on this list, and the score is strong. That’s more evidence than most agencies here offer.
- Clients rate it at the top of the scale, but only 14 reviews stand behind that score. Treat the rating as strong and thin at the same time.
- Clients also rate its value for cost at the top of the scale. That counts for more at an entry price this high.
- Website design is one of the smallest slices on this list. You’re hiring a brand shop that also builds sites. Against Lform above it, it also draws less traffic. It ranks on feedback and team strength, not design focus.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
The details here are sparse. Reviews read like case studies: brand projects delivered well. Cultural fit and value for cost are named as the deciding factors. Nothing negative surfaced, though so few reviews say little.
Our Take
Choose Focus Lab if you’re a funded B2B tech firm that needs positioning, identity, and a site together. Skip it if you just need a website, or if the entry price is more than your budget.
8. ThrillX — Conversion-Focused Sites on WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify With a Low Minimum

- Website: thrillxdesign.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $1,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.83 (71 reviews)
- Team Size: 4 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 5
- Monthly Website Visits: 1,535
- Employee Review Score: N/A
Overview
ThrillX is a remote agency that serves clients globally. It also limits how many projects it takes each year, aiming for quick, hands-on communication.
Builds run on WordPress, Webflow, and Shopify, with Figma used for design. It also appears in WP Engine’s agency partner directory, which backs up its WordPress claims.
Named work includes a Shopify store for beverage company Teed Up and a conversion project for Auto Launch. The mix leans toward e-commerce and service businesses.
If you want a conversion-minded site and a small team that answers quickly, it fits. If you need a big bench or a long history, this young team is a stretch.
Core Services
- Web design and UX/UI design
- Web development on WordPress and Webflow
- Shopify e-commerce design and development
- Conversion rate optimization and landing pages
- SEO, branding, and web maintenance
Why They Rank #8
- Only Zazen and Lounge Lizard are more design-focused. Website design is the main job here, not a side service.
- Its entry price sits in the lowest tier. Clients also rate its value for cost near the top of the range.
- A 4.83 rating across 71 reviews is solid. That’s a smaller base than most agencies ranked above it.
- A team of four is among the smallest on this list. Its record is also the shortest in the top ten. Fit and price are strong, but capacity and history are thin.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
Attention to detail and a creative approach come up most. Reviewers also note quick responses and comfort across WordPress, Webflow, and Shopify projects. Most reviewed projects are small to mid-size, and complaints are rare.
Our Take
Hire ThrillX if you want a conversion-minded site from a small, responsive team on a modest budget. Skip it if you need large-scale development or a firm with a long history.
9. C7 Apps + Websites + Marketing — Websites, Apps, SEO, and Video From One Team

- Website: c7creative.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $1,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.40 (40 reviews)
- Team Size: 10 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 17
- Monthly Website Visits: 882
- Employee Review Score: N/A
Overview
C7 has redesigned sites for UK Sotheby’s International Realty and Royal LePage Terrequity Realty. It also rebuilt a site for event services company Messe Dortmund.
Its public pitch names healthcare, medtech, fintech, sports, education, and law enforcement as core sectors.
Most builds run on WordPress. C7 also builds mobile apps and shoots video, which sets it apart from pure design studios. Its process opens with discovery work to map user needs and a clearer site structure.
It calls its team award-winning, but I found no named award. I’d treat that as a slogan. Its latest pitch leans on AI-driven tools for online visibility.
If you want web, apps, and marketing handled by one team, it fits. If your project is designed only, you’ll pay for the range you won’t use.
Core Services
- Custom website design and development
- Mobile app development
- SEO and local search
- Digital marketing campaigns
- Video production and branding
Why They Rank #9
- Only Lounge Lizard, Thrive, and Lform have longer records in the top ten.
- Clients rate its value for cost higher than five of the eight agencies ranked above it.
- Its traffic is the second lowest in the top ten, so its market footprint is modest.
- What keeps it from climbing is the client rating. It’s the lowest in the top ten, and only 40 reviews back it up.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
Value for money is the theme reviewers raise most, followed by quick replies and modern, user-friendly sites. Some SEO clients report better traffic and rankings. No clear pattern of complaints stands out.
Our Take
Choose C7 if you want website, app, SEO, and video work under one roof for a mid-size business. Skip it if you want a design specialist with the strongest review record.
10. Creative Juice — A Boutique Studio for Branding, Print, and Websites That Match

- Website: itscreativejuice.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $25,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.70 (27 reviews)
- Team Size: 26 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 13
- Monthly Website Visits: 456
- Employee Review Score: 3.30 (33 reviews)
Overview
Octavia Gilmore started Creative Juice as a boutique design studio. It grew into a branding and marketing agency. Its team, which it calls Juicers, spans many nationalities.
It describes a culture with no red tape and no long hours or weekends as the norm. That’s a self-description, but it fits a small creative shop.
Its clients lean toward multicultural audiences. The client list includes LG, Equifax, and Home Depot, which is heavier than most boutiques can show.
If your brand needs a logo, print, and web work that speaks to varied audiences, it fits. If your site is the main goal, a web-first studio will serve you better.
Core Services
- Logo and brand development
- Website design and development on WordPress
- Print and marketing materials
- Digital marketing
- UX/UI design and packaging
Why They Rank #10
- Clients rate its value for cost at the top of the scale. That’s notable, since its entry price sits in the highest tier on this list.
- Website design is a mid-sized share of the work, more than at Thrive or Ajroni. Branding and print take much of the rest.
- Employee feedback is the weakest on this list. With 33 reviews behind it, it’s hard to write off as noise.
- Traffic is the lowest in the top ten. The client review base is also small, which keeps it at the bottom of the group.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
Personal trust drives these reviews. The detailed ones read like endorsements of the founder. Reviewers add that team size flexes with each project. Nothing negative surfaced, but it’s a small sample.
Our Take
Hire Creative Juice if you need a brand identity, print, and a matching website. You’ll need a real budget. Skip it if your site is the whole job or your budget is small.
11. United Webworks, Inc. — Website and Marketing Help From a Long-Running Team

- Website: unitedwebworks.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $1,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.35 (40 reviews)
- Team Size: 7 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 23
- Monthly Website Visits: 15
- Employee Review Score: 4.40 (7 reviews)
Overview
United Webworks started as a one-man operation under founder Andrew Reilley. It grew into a full-service digital marketing agency.
Reilley built it on a simple belief: marketing should be open, honest, and aimed at long-term results. He had watched businesses get misled by empty promises and quick tricks.
Ownership changed recently. Longtime vice president Decie Odom bought the company, so the leadership is familiar, not new. I’d still ask how the change has shaped day-to-day service.
If you want a marketing partner that sells trust and long-term plans, the pitch fits. If you need a design-first studio, its services stretch wider than that.
Core Services
- Website design and development
- Search engine optimization
- PPC advertising management
- Social media management
- Email marketing and website hosting
Why They Rank #11
- Only RobMark and Lounge Lizard have a longer record on this list.
- Website design is a modest share of a business that also sells SEO, ads, and social media. You get a marketing agency more than a design shop.
- Its client rating is the lowest on this list. With 40 reviews behind it, that’s a real signal, not noise.
- Traffic is among the lowest here, and the team is small. That keeps it at the bottom of the middle group.
- It has the history of a top-five agency and the rating of a bottom-five one.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
The clients who wrote in praise a team that listens and handles design and marketing together. No clear complaint pattern shows up. Even so, the overall rating is the lowest on this list, so expect some mixed experiences.
Our Take
Choose United Webworks if you want one team for your website and marketing. It suits buyers who value a long track record. Skip it if the review record matters most, since its rating is the lowest here.
12. RobMark — A Website Built Inside a Full Advertising and PR Plan

- Website: robmark.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $1,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 5.00 (24 reviews)
- Team Size: 19 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 36
- Monthly Website Visits: 196
- Employee Review Score: N/A
Overview
RobMark was once Robertson & Markowitz Advertising and Public Relations. The name got shorter, but advertising and PR are still what the agency sells best.
I’d call it a traditional full-service shop. Copywriters, designers, and technicians work in-house, so a site can sit inside a larger campaign.
Its clients range from small businesses to national brands and international organizations, so no single type dominates.
It has added staff recently, including a website project coordinator. Readers voted it best web developer in a regional poll, with runner-up spots for advertising and graphic design.
If you want web work tied to advertising and PR, it fits. If you only need a website, you’d be paying for a bigger menu than you use.
Core Services
- Website design and development
- Advertising and media planning
- Public relations
- Branding and graphic design
- SEO and social media management
Why They Rank #12
- Website design is a small share of a business built on advertising and PR. Site work sits beside print, media, and public relations.
- Its record is the longest on this list. It has outlasted more market shifts than any rival here.
- Clients rate it at the top of the scale, but only 24 reviews stand behind that score. Strong, though thin.
- Its traffic and team are modest next to the agencies above it. That keeps it out of the top ten. It ranks on longevity and ratings, not reach or design focus.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
Reviewers sourced from Google mostly talk about the finished website and the staff. They call the site something to be proud of and the team friendly. Several add that the agency holds a strong reputation. Complaints don’t appear, but the sample is small.
Our Take
Hire RobMark if you want your website built inside a wider advertising and PR plan. Skip it if you only need a standalone site. Look elsewhere for a design specialist.
13. IZENICA Technologies LLC — Web Design With Chatbot Automation on a Lean Budget

- Website: izenicatechnologies.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $1,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.60 (105 reviews)
- Team Size: 1 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 9
- Monthly Website Visits: N/A
- Employee Review Score: N/A
Overview
IZENICA pitches AI chatbot setup and automation next to its web design, SEO, and social media work. The AI offer is the newest piece of that menu.
It advertises a long list of finished projects. That’s a self-reported claim, so I’d ask to see a few recent ones.
A directory profile credits it with helping medical practices book more appointments. It markets to business owners and founders across the US.
If you want web design with chatbot automation added on, it fits. Ask for proof of recent work first, because public profiles describe its size and history in different ways.
Core Services
- Website design and development
- SEO and social media marketing
- AI chatbot setup and automation
- Content marketing
- Video editing
Why They Rank #13
- Its client review base is the fourth largest on this list. That makes its rating count for more, even though the rating itself is middling.
- At $50 an hour, it ties for the lowest rate on this list. Its entry price also sits in the lowest tier.
- Website design is one of the smallest slices on this list. The offer is spread across SEO, social media, video, and AI services.
- A team count of one caps how much it can take on at once. That keeps it below agencies with real benches. It earns its spot on review volume and price, not design focus or capacity.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
Reviews here are plentiful in number but light on detail. The ones I could read are short, friendly endorsements, with one reviewer saying they referred many customers. That’s thin evidence about real project quality, so ask for references.
Our Take
Hire IZENICA if you’re a small business that wants a website plus chatbot automation on a lean budget. Skip it if you need a large team or a design specialist.
14. Electric Lemonade — Best if you want content marketing and SEO to carry your website

- Website: electriclemonade.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $10,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 5.00 (15 reviews)
- Team Size: 6 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 23
- Monthly Website Visits: 701
- Employee Review Score: 5.00 (2 reviews)
Overview
Electric Lemonade runs on one idea: storytelling. It wants content that engages an audience and builds trust before it asks for the sale.
Its clients lean toward legal and home services. Names include Wadkins & Wadkins, The Turner Firm, and Peachtree Pest Control. That’s a clear lane for a small shop.
It’s a small team with a narrow focus, which I’d call a specialist’s profile. Lately it has added AI campaigns to its content and SEO work.
If you want a content engine for a legal or service business, it fits. If you need a fast, low-cost website build, the price and focus won’t match.
Core Services
- Content marketing and storytelling
- Search engine optimization
- Pay-per-click advertising
- Social media marketing
- Website design
Why They Rank #14
- Its hourly rate is the highest on this list, at double the next highest. You pay for specialist content and SEO work.
- Clients rate it at the top of the scale, but only 15 reviews stand behind that score. Strong, though thin.
- Its record ties for the third longest on this list, behind only RobMark and Lounge Lizard.
- A perfect employee score rests on two reviews, which is too few to read anything into.
- Website design is one of the smallest shares here. The site is part of a larger program, not the product. With a small team and a top-of-list price, it ranks below agencies that offer more reach for less.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
Reviewers sound like returning clients. They call the staff helpful and knowledgeable. One credits its content and SEO work with growing a law practice more than other marketing did. Another firm is delighted with a full site redesign. Complaints don’t show up in this set.
Our Take
Hire Electric Lemonade if you run a legal or service business and want leads from content and SEO. Skip it if you want a fast, low-cost website or a large team.
15. h2o creative group — A Creative Team for Branding, Photo, Video, and Web

- Website: h2ocreativegroup.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $1,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.80 (30 reviews)
- Team Size: 19 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 18
- Monthly Website Visits: 1
- Employee Review Score: N/A
Overview
h2o started with three people. It grew into a team that now spans branding, design, photo, video, and web.
Its own pitch says the team has done this work at a high level before. That’s a self-description, so read the team bios yourself.
It calls itself a relationship-based company and says it wants to be a long-term partner. For a creative shop, that’s a promise worth testing with a small first project.
Its award for a hotel and lodging website suggests hospitality is a strength.
If you want branding, photo, video, and web work from one creative team, it fits. If the website is the whole job, a web-first studio is a tighter match.
Core Services
- Branding and corporate identity
- Web design and development
- Graphic design and packaging
- Photography and videography
- Social media and digital marketing
Why They Rank #15
- It ties for the sixth-largest team on this list. That means it can run branding, web, and video work at the same time.
- Its 4.80 rating from 30 reviews is solid. That’s a thinner base than most agencies ranked above it.
- Only six agencies here have a longer record, so it’s established, not new.
- Website design is a small slice of an agency built around branding, photography, and video.
- Traffic is the lowest on this list by a wide margin. It can’t point to market presence on that measure. That keeps it at the bottom of the top fifteen.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
I couldn’t find written reviews to read, so there’s no theme to report. The numeric rating is solid, but it rests on a small base. Ask for client references and judge the work directly.
Our Take
Choose h2o if you want a full creative team for branding, photo, video, and a website. Skip it if you only need a fast, low-cost site, or want written proof from reviews first.
16. TradeBark — A Small Studio for Websites and SEO With Direct Access

- Website: tradebarkit.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $1,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 5.00 (24 reviews)
- Team Size: 1 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 9
- Monthly Website Visits: 142
- Employee Review Score: N/A
Overview
TradeBark’s pitch is blunt: don’t overpay for results. It describes each project as bespoke, so expect a custom quote, not a price list.
Joshua Hall Avant is president and art director, so a designer sits at the top of the company.
Its pages show work for law firms, restaurants, logistics companies, wineries, and manufacturers. It lists awards from MarCom and Davey, though I could only find those on third-party profiles.
Its newest service line is AI search, which sits beside hosting and branding.
If you want a small studio that builds sites and handles SEO, it fits. If you need several projects at once, a team this small is a risk.
Core Services
- Custom web design and development
- SEO and AI search
- Branding and logo design
- Website hosting and email setup
- App design
Why They Rank #16
- Website design is one of the bigger shares here. Only Zazen, Lounge Lizard, ThrillX, and Groundwrk sit above it.
- Clients rate it at the top of the scale, but only 24 reviews stand behind that score. Strong, though thin.
- Its entry price sits in the lowest tier. Its hourly rate sits at the common level on this list. That keeps it open to small budgets.
- A team of one is the thinnest part of the case. Traffic is also far below the agencies above it. Those gaps keep it near the bottom. It earns its spot on design focus and ratings, not scale.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
Reviewers often say they compared several SEO providers before choosing it. They credit its pricing structure and its grasp of how to show up on Google. No complaint appears, though the sources are mostly short Google reviews.
Our Take
Choose TradeBark if you want a small studio for a website plus SEO. It suits owners who like direct access. Skip it if you need a team that can run several projects at once.
17. Groundwrk — A Boutique Team That Builds Brand and Website Together

- Website: groundwrk.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $25,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 5.00 (23 reviews)
- Team Size: 12 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 7
- Monthly Website Visits: 1,666
- Employee Review Score: N/A
Overview
Groundwrk says it was born out of the old-school agency world. The team felt the traditional agency model was broken. It set out to offer big-agency branding without the extra layers.
Randall Hartman founded it and oversees the creative process, approving work before it reaches clients. His earlier projects include Frontier Airlines, ReMax, and Vail Resorts.
Hartman leads strategy on each web project, and clients can talk with the whole team. That’s the stated process, and it promises open access.
The team is a boutique mix of designers, developers, strategists, and writers. Its client mix spans B2B, B2C, and e-commerce.
If you want a boutique team that treats websites and brands as one job, it fits. If you need a low entry price or a long history, it’s a harder sell.
Core Services
- Custom web design and development
- Branding and visual identity
- UI/UX design
- E-commerce websites
- Website maintenance and social media
Why They Rank #17
- Clients rate it at the top of the scale, with 23 reviews behind that score. That’s a decent base, though not a large one.
- Value for cost is another strength, with clients rating it near the top of the scale. That holds even though its hourly rate sits at the top tier of this list.
- Website design is the fourth-largest share of work on this list. You’re hiring a web specialist more than a marketing shop.
- A $25,000 entry point and a small team narrow both its buyer pool and its capacity. Its record is also the second shortest on this list. Strong feedback and design focus, held back by price, youth, and size.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
Clients commend project management most, followed by innovative design and strong branding and messaging. Several mention good value and repeat business. A few note tight timelines, though projects still landed on schedule. Many report nothing to improve.
Our Take
Choose Groundwrk if you have a real budget and want a brand and website built together. Skip it if you need a low entry price or a long history.
18. Blue Edge Business Solutions — A Marketing Consultant With Website Help on the Side

- Website: blueedgebusiness.com
- Minimum Project Cost: $1,000
- Average Client Satisfaction Rating: 4.45 (32 reviews)
- Team Size: 8 (LinkedIn)
- Years in Business: 10
- Monthly Website Visits: 57
- Employee Review Score: N/A
Overview
Federico Cali runs Blue Edge as principal. It describes itself as a digital marketing consulting firm.
Its stated aim is to keep clients’ profits and satisfaction as top priorities. It stresses flexibility, speed, and cost that fits each business.
It focuses on small and mid-sized businesses and says it works with both B2B and B2C clients. Inc. lists it as a category winner for advertising and marketing in its Power Partners directory. I’d treat directory listings as a light signal.
Its site also says a Mexico presence is coming soon, so international plans are on its radar. If you want a marketing consultant who can also handle your website, it fits. If design is the main goal, a design-first studio is a better match.
Core Services
- SEO and Google Ads
- Social media marketing
- Web design and development
- Branding and graphic design
- Digital marketing consulting and analytics
Why They Rank #18
- Its entry price sits in the lowest tier, so it’s open to small budgets. Its hourly rate sits at the common level, so it doesn’t undercut anyone.
- Its client rating is the third lowest on this list, with 32 reviews behind it.
- Website design is a small share next to SEO, Google Ads, and social media. You’re buying a marketing consultant more than a design studio.
- Traffic is among the lowest on this list, and the team is small. It’s last because it trails on rating, reach, and design focus, not because of price.
Snapshot of Client Reviews
Little client feedback surfaced. Several Google comments come from people on the team, so they say little about client work. One client credits quick help fixing a site before a busy season. Treat this as a thin record.
Our Take
Choose Blue Edge if you want a marketing consultant for SEO and ads. Website help comes on the side. Skip it if design is your main goal or you need a stronger review record.
Disclosure: Our recommendations include both locally headquartered agencies and offshore firms that provide services in this region. Some agencies featured do not maintain a physical office here but have an established track record of delivering services to clients in the area.
Choosing the Right Website Design Agency: What Matters Most
A pitch deck tells you very little. An agency’s habits tell you a lot. These are the six things I’d check before you sign anything.
1. Look at Their Recent Work on Your Phone
Open their last five sites on your phone. If three feel slow or dated, you’ve learned more than any sales deck would tell you. Look at how the UI/UX Design holds up on mobile devices. Then ask who built each one.
2. Get Pricing in Writing
Ask for a written quote that lists what’s in and what’s out. Copy, photos, hosting, and revisions are where surprise bills hide. A Cost Calculator can sanity-check the range first. If an agency won’t put numbers on paper, move on.
3. Ask What They Do for SEO
A site nobody finds is just a brochure. Local buyers often see your Google Business Profile long before they open your site. So ask how the agency handles SEO and what it should do for your website traffic. Vague talk about “ranking” is a red flag.
4. Test How They Communicate
Most owners here run things themselves. You don’t have a week to decode jargon. Ask how the agency handles a missed deadline. That answer tells you more than any process slide.
5. Check That They Can Grow With You
Today you may need five pages. Next year you may need online booking. Hotels and tour operators feel this first, because reservations are what a basic site can’t handle. Ask what the agency has built beyond a brochure site.
6. Weigh Local Know-How Honestly
The Historic District, Midtown, and Southside each draw different customers. Ask each agency which one it would target for you, and why. A good answer shows local knowledge, even from a remote team. A weak one shows a template. Compare more web design agencies before deciding.
What to Avoid When Hiring a Website Design Agency
Most bad hires look fine on day one. The damage shows up months later, when the site is live and nobody is calling. Here are the seven mistakes I’d steer you away from.
1. Choosing on Price Alone
Two quotes for the same job can sit far apart. People here keep asking what a price actually includes, and that’s the right question. Hosting, copy, and revisions are where cheap quotes cut corners. Our website design cost study shows typical ranges.
2. Leaving SEO Until Launch Day
Most local searches tack “Savannah GA” onto the service. That makes the intent clear, and a site with no local SEO misses it. Fixing that after launch costs more than planning it first. Our guide to common SEO mistakes covers what else to check.
3. Skipping the Portfolio Review
Many sites around here are slow, dated, or clumsy on a phone. If an agency’s own portfolio looks the same, believe what you see. Click through live projects, not screenshots. Then ask what changed since launch.
4. Reading Only the Five-Star Reviews
Five-star reviews all sound alike. The three-star ones show you what actually goes wrong. If the same complaint appears twice, treat it as a pattern. One grumpy review is noise, but two matching ones are a warning.
5. Overlooking Mobile
Many visitors search from their phones while they’re already in town. A slow site loses them in seconds. Test every page on your own phone before you approve it. Don’t trust the desktop preview alone.
6. Having No Plan After Launch
Hurricane season turns a website into an emergency notice board. Closures and schedule changes have to go up fast. If nobody at the agency is on call, that job lands on you. Agree who handles website maintenance before you sign.
7. Treating a Local Address as Local Skill
An address doesn’t prove local skill. Many buyers can’t tell a studio in town from one serving the area remotely. Ask to see work done for Savannah customers instead. That shows what they know better than any map pin.
Where to Go From Here
Start with the list of website design agencies in Savannah, then narrow it by what you need. If you sell to other businesses, look first at agencies that build capability pages and quote forms. Few local sites around the port do that well.
Next, pick a few names. Ask each the same questions about price, scope, and who does the work. Their answers will tell you more than any ranking.
For nearby options, see web design agencies in Atlanta and Charleston. For a wider view, browse web design agencies across the US.
We built this list at OneLittleWeb to give you a fair starting point. Now call your shortlist this week, and compare what each one actually sends back.
How We Assess the Agencies on This List
Why This Ranking Is Different
Most agency roundups lean on editorial opinion, self-reported claims, or paid placement. This ranking doesn’t. It uses one repeatable scoring framework. Every website design agency serving Savannah gets measured against it the same way.
Every agency gets the same scoring. Physical location isn’t a ranking factor, so no agency earns extra points for being local. No agency paid for inclusion or a higher spot.
Scoring and research are two separate jobs. I read service pages, portfolios, case studies, and notable clients to understand each agency.
I also look at awards, partnerships, certifications, and media mentions. Technical expertise, local presence, and proprietary processes get the same treatment.
All of that shapes the profiles. None of it adds or removes points unless it matches one of the weighted metrics below.
Where Your Data Comes From
We collected the data independently during 2026. Every number comes from a public source, so you can check it yourself.
SEMrush gives us estimated monthly website traffic. It’s an estimate, so we use it to compare agencies, not to promise exact visitor counts.
Client ratings and review counts come from Clutch, DesignRush, G2, Google Business Profile, and Trustpilot. Employee ratings and review volume come from Glassdoor and Indeed. LinkedIn gives us agency team size.
Agency websites and other public sources fill in services, pricing, hourly rates, minimum project size, and business history.
I also reviewed service pages, portfolios, case studies, public client examples, awards, partnerships, and certifications. That confirmed each agency’s website design capabilities and gave context for the profiles.
Unless represented by one of the weighted metrics below, these qualitative findings do not affect the numerical score.
The Five Dimensions That Shape Your Rankings
Each agency is scored across five weighted areas. Positive categories add points, while pricing metrics apply deductions for higher cost barriers.
1. Website Design Focus & Value Assessment (20%)
This category measures how central website design is to the agency’s offering. It also covers how clients rate the value they received relative to cost.
| Metric | Weight | How We Calculated It |
| Website Design Focus | 10% | Website design appeared as a core agency service |
| Client Rating for Cost | 10% | Average cost/value rating from selected review platforms |
Agencies benefit when website design is a real part of their business. They also gain when clients report strong value for money.
2. Brand Authority (45%)
Brand Authority measures visibility, scale, and operating history.
| Metric | Weight | How We Calculated It |
| Website Traffic | 20% | Higher estimated SEMrush traffic contributed more points |
| LinkedIn Team Size | 15% | Larger teams contributed more points |
| Years in Business | 10% | Longer operating histories contributed more points |
These metrics are comparative signals of market presence, delivery capacity, and stability. A bigger agency isn’t automatically a better one.
3. Client Satisfaction (30%)
This category combines rating quality with review volume.
| Metric | Weight | How We Calculated It |
| Average Client Rating | 15% | Combined ratings from selected review platforms |
| Total Client Reviews | 15% | Greater review volume contributed more confidence to the score |
A high rating backed by many reviews carries more weight than the same rating from just a few. Review themes don’t count as separate factors. They appear in each profile’s Snapshot of Client Reviews.
4. Employee Satisfaction (25%)
Employee sentiment gives one more signal about how stable an organization is.
| Metric | Weight | How We Calculated It |
| Average Employee Rating | 10% | Average rating from Glassdoor and Indeed |
| Number of Employee Reviews | 15% | Greater review volume reduced the influence of very small samples |
Both the rating and the number of employee reviews matter. A strong score from a handful of reviews counts for less than the same score from many.
5. Cost Accessibility Adjustment (-20%)
This is the only category that subtracts points.
| Metric | Weight | How We Calculated It |
| Hourly Rate | -10% | Higher hourly rates received larger deductions |
| Minimum Project Cost | -10% | Higher entry costs reduced accessibility scores |
This doesn’t mean expensive agencies do worse work. It only reflects how accessible each agency is across a wider range of budgets. The combined deduction can reach 20 points, so it can shift a position.
How the Final Score Works
Each metric is normalized, weighted, and combined into a score out of 100.
Positive metrics contribute up to 120 points. The Cost Accessibility Adjustment can deduct up to 20 points, based on hourly rate and minimum project cost.
No single metric decides a ranking. Larger agencies may benefit from stronger traffic, team size, or longevity. Smaller agencies may do better on client satisfaction, employee sentiment, website design focus, value, or affordability.
Only the weighted metrics affect rankings. Awards, clients, partnerships, and certifications can appear in profiles. So can case studies, portfolio quality, technical expertise, and local presence. None of them change a score.
This framework lets us compare agencies of different sizes, pricing models, and market positions on equal terms.
Disclosure: All rankings and scores are based solely on publicly available data collected at the time of publication. These rankings reflect the market landscape at the time of publication. Although individual metrics may change over time, the evaluation framework prioritizes long-term capability signals, making major ranking fluctuations unlikely.
