As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of WordPress websites, themes, and plugins. You will collaborate closely with our design and marketing teams to create visually appealing and highly functional websites that meet our marketing team’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain WordPress websites using best practices, ensuring code quality, performance, and security.
Collaborate with the design team to translate visual designs into functional websites using WordPress.
Customize and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to coding standards.
Troubleshoot and debug WordPress-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Perform website updates, including content changes, feature enhancements, and bug fixes.
Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and search engine optimization (SEO).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and project managers, to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of WordPress projects.
Proficiency in WordPress development, including theme and plugin development, customization, and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and PHP.
Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and package managers (e.g., npm).
Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Familiarity with UI/UX design principles is a plus.
